Firewall 64X delivered in large quantities; further extension of discounts

Dear Esteemed Customers,

After what was really a marathon effort, we are happy to announce that almost all of the pre-ordered Firewall 64X units have now been shipped.



There are only about 100 units left to ship out at this time.

There was a recent glitch in our supply of parts. One supplier has recently informed us that they have an unexpected production issue (a die they use on the high performance inlets has broken and they have to engrave a new die). They informed just today that they are trying out the new die, and if all is good, we can expect delivery again in 2-3 weeks. We already have a standing order with them and these are the only parts we are missing in order to finally complete our production roster.

In the mean time, we continue to manufacture the oakwood enclosures (we just picked up another 200 fresh ones today from the milling partners).





We will continue to engrave them by laser and impregnate them with oil, as well as continue to work on the manufacture of the Firewall 64X naked modules which are epoxy glued into the specially milled interior of the oakwood enclosures.



There is a lot of hands on work involved in creating these fine Firewall modules.







After impregnation with a nice antique looking oil, we are ready to assemble the parts.





Above you see the standard C14 inlets. The ones we are currently using on the new Firewall 64X are of an obviously higher caliber of design, featuring solid copper and cryogenic treatment in a specialty lab.



It is these very C14 inlets which are now delayed in production.

We anticipate being able to complete all the pre-ordered Firewall 64X units in a very timely fashion right after we receive the missing parts, because we'll be ready for them. Until we receive the missing inlets, we cannot give you a more exact estimate because the engraving of the broken die is out of our control entirely.

The good news is that our production partners are excellent communicators and this lets us know what is going on at all times.
