Echo's End

I am simply blown away by how incredible the Echo's End Reference Supreme DAC sounds in my studio. The sound is extremely natural, and detailed without ever sounding harsh or fatiguing. The sound stage is wider, deeper, more precise and more immersive than any converter I've heard in my space. But for me, the most important factor is how easily I can hear even the smallest change in a mix, even at very low levels, allowing me to make faster and more confident decisions. Any tool that helps me do my job better and faster stays in the chain, this converter is never leaving! And it sounds good at any sample rate, from 16 bit 44.1 kHz all the way up to DSD 2x.

Rick Jacobsohn

New York based engineer and producer Rick Jacobsohn has established a multifaceted career in the recording studio and live performance venues. Recent commercial projects include work with many notable artists including Carlos Simon, Kevin Puts, Marin Alsop, The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Du Yun, and Claire Chase. He is the original sound designer for Osvaldo Golijov's Ainadamar, Mason Bates The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs, and Karim Suylaman’s UnHoly Wars. Since 2007, Rick has been the producer and engineer for The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. From 2016 through 2022, he also produced and engineered a portion of The Philadelphia Orchestra’s weekly broadcasts on WRTI as well as their entire 2020 Digital Stage season. In addition Rick has mixed live sound on numerous productions for orchestras including Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Atlanta Symphonies as well as AMOC, The Atlanta Opera, The Calgary Opera, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Opera Philadelphia, San Francisco Opera, The Santa Fe Opera, and The Seattle Opera. As an educator, he has led Peabody Conservatory students in the production of two commercial albums and has presented lectures at Ithaca College and Indiana University. At Santa Fe Opera, Indiana University, and Bravo Vail, he has led student and apprentice teams through the process of sound design for opera. Rick holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Ithaca College and a Master’s Degree in Sound Recording from McGill University.

C-MARC Stellar Power Cable

Crispy, full, clear, well-balanced and a tremendous pronunciation. These words first came up to me, after using the C-Marc Stellar. In combination with the 640k firewall.
My Naim NSC222 really performs better, brighter and cleaner.
Naim has an external power source NPX 300. I tried this for a week.
To be honest, the Stellar and the 640k together are in the same league as the NPX of 7.000 euro.
A no-brainer in my opinion.

C-MARC Stellar Power Cable

The stellar PCs in this review were purchased as upgrades from the Classic ENTROPIC PROCESS PCs.(which are amazing PCs in their own right) The first thing I noticed about the Stellar PCs was how the low level detail was magnified with more weight and density than before. It is like installing an aural magnifying glass making it easier to hear details and dimensionality. Since this effect is produced in such a natural fashion, the end result is total immersion and involvement without any distracting over emphasis in any of the frequency extremes. This greater magnification in both macro and micro domaines creates a more expansive and 3 dimensional sound field. There is a greater sense of unforced ease while at the same time exposing more musical information. Low level listening is more satisfying while turning up the volume becomes even more rewarding. Each listening session becomes a never ending journey, extending itself for no other reason than the pure joy of musical connection and discovery. Prior to the addition of the Stellar PCs the sound was what I thought to be amazing, but has now taken on a what could be described as a more mature and insightful nature. The Stellar power cords are in a word, EXTRAORDINARY!!! Despite thinking the sound of my system had already reached its pinnacle, I was happily proved wrong once again.


Be prepared to tolerate a full 7 days of break in before having the full experience. It is more than worth the Wait. Once you hear it you will be spoiled for life.

C-MARC Stellar Power Cable

I recently ordered and received 4 top line C-Marc power cables. To complete my entire power cable system. After about a month of listening, I can report-good things! In a nutshell, the sound is truer to life. Like the old RCA records statement on all its record jackets- "Living Presence". It has greater depth, great room resonance, and a more 'you are there' feeling to it. Just so exhilarating to an audiophile!

I have been a supporter and believer of LessLoss product since 2023.

I am currently using BlackGround 10x Power Base, BlackGround 8x Speaker Base, Firewall 640x and also 5 Stellar power cords….

I took the opportunity of the upgrade program to upgrade 5 pcs of Entropic Classic power cords to Stellar.

My setup is streaming based and I was using the Entropic Classic to connect to LessLoss power distributor, streamer, usb regenerator, network switch and 10x Power Base.

When I initially switched from my old power cords to Entropic Classic, the experience was a revelation..the feeling of “live” performance..the background is so quiet yet lively at the same time..the other improvement were increase in depth and width of music..and big reduction in digititis…please note that I am only streaming music through tidal and I am already getting this much of satisfaction.

Now, upgrading from Entropic Classic to Stellar power cord, what I experienced is a definite improvement over Entropic Classic..the improvement I experience in Entropic Classic applies here and are further amplified.. I also experienced increase in dynamics and increase in bass quality and bass output..the increase in bass feels like I have upgraded my amplifier or speaker. What really impress me is on vocal..vocal is much much improved over Entropic Classic..to the point there is really no listening fatigue. The glare that I normally experience in digital setup is gone. Previously there are certain artist which I find it hard to listen to, such as Celine Dion Immortality..i had to lower the volume when the songs reaches chorus/climaxes as its too piercing to my ear.. but with Stellar, I no longer need to lower the volume..in fact, I can increase the volume now and hear even more details than before.

All in all, the upgrade to Stellar was a worthwhile one and I greatly recommend this product.

[RCA Entropic Process interconnects]

I received the RCA cable a week ago.

The sound is amazing.

Zero Fatigue, Zero Compression, Perfect L-H Balance, Relaxed but Full dynamics.

I’m really enjoying the sound of full LessLoss C-MARC loom.

Bryston BDP-2 : C-MARC AES/EBU : MUTEC MC-3+ DDC : C-MARC AES/EBU : Exogal Comet Plus DAC : C-MARC RCA : Allnic Int. Amp : C-MARC Speaker cable : Penaudio Legato Sig. (all the power cable are C-MARC Classic E.P. power cables)

The more C-MARC cable was added to the system, the more veils that covered the system were peeled off one by one.

BlackGround Power Base

The BlackGround 10x Power Base is in the system for maybe 45 Minutes. The last 10 Minutes I had goosebumps straight.

This is absolutely ridiculous. A single piano tone just moved me to tears.

C-MARC Prime Power Cable

Allow me to share my initial impressions after experiencing the Lessloss Prime during my recent listening sessions:

The impact was immediate and profound as I played Allan Taylor's "Colour To The Moon." The delicate triangle in the song's opening exhibited a more extended decay, while the bass lines became notably easier to discern. The newfound clarity within the mix was striking, and Taylor's vocals were rendered with an ethereal, airy beauty.

The ambiance felt akin to a late evening where everything sounded impeccably smooth and delightful.

The music itself took on a more profound sense of musicality.

The sound emitted was soft yet remarkably precise, and the soundstage expanded significantly.

Even at lower volumes, intricate details emerged effortlessly. Surprisingly, even after extended eight-hour listening sessions at higher levels, my ears remained un-fatigued.

The sheer enhancement in enjoyment was undeniable.

Remarkably, all these improvements stemmed from a simple change: replacing the power cable connected to my amplifier. The transformation felt unbelievably good—almost surreal, yet undeniably fantastic.

BlackGround Power Base

The BlackGround 6x has been in my system for nearly 2 months now and, despite all other LessLoss products in my system, the 6x has brought about the most enjoyable upgrade. What I mean by that is that the system sounds more real and the vocals display more emotion – therefore I feel more emotional whilst listening. My (50+ years) enjoyment of music centres around vocals (and the lyrics).

My DIY ‘speaker design is 2-way active with everything above 200Hz coming from a single-point source (the Manger driver) to maximise the illusion of the vocals. Everything below 200Hz comes from twin 12” Acoustic Elegance dipole drivers - open-baffle, actively driven, therefore no passive crossover components nor ‘speaker boxes to destroy the illusion.

The previous best addition to my system were the Firewalls for Loudspeakers, but the 6x surpasses even that.

I’m getting close to the point where my LessLoss components cost as much as my systems ‘normal’ components!

And that leads me to the one serious problem with having purchased the 6x, against my better judgement of the post-Brexit 20% surcharge – IT IS ADDICTIVE – I NEED MORE!!

Now considering:

1. A better mains cable for the 6x
2. Adding the 8x for ‘speakers.

I was concerned that having the Firewalls for Speakers and Svens’ purpose-made-for-me special edition of his Comdevs with internal resonators to compensate for my ‘speakers not being his design, that the 8x might be overkill. However, reading Dawyd Grzyb’s review reminded me that he too uses both the Firewalls and the Comdevs and that is with Sven’s ‘speakers.

Many thanks again for such a brilliant product and elevating my nightly listening sessions to a new level of enjoyment.

Power Distributor

I received your parcel yesterday!!

As soon as I plugged it in, I immediately felt the contribution your power distributor made to the sound quality of my audio system.

A sense of calm settled in, the music sounded more "soothing", less "urgent", the piano notes more percussive, the voices much more natural, the soundstage wider and higher, more richness in the sound details, especially on live shows where the audience becomes incredibly close.

Mélody Gardot from « Live from Soho » gives the impression that she is whispering in your ear...

I think I had a big deficit on the power supply.
